Hello! I was born and raised on a Kibbutz in Israel. I moved to the United States in 2003. I met My husband, Vincent, while attending my undergraduate studies in Santa Cruz, California, and together we relocated to the Pacific Northwest for graduate school in 2007. After completing my internship in the East Coast, my partner and I, and our newest family member Chia (our spunky Blue Heeler) came back to Washington to settle down. We now have a 7 year old son as well. We love the Northwest and spend our time hiking, mountain biking, and exploring.
Education and Training
I graduated from Pacific University with a PsyD in August of 2015. This included an internship in Pennsylvania where I did intensive in-home therapy with high-risk youth and their families. Throughout my graduate school and beyond, I had diverse training in assessment and therapy for individuals and families across the lifespan. My practice is trauma-informed, neurodiversity and culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I honor all the ways we choose to live our lives. I specialize in systems and humanistic therapies - forms of therapy that see the whole person and their context, not just a label or a symptom. I further utilize tools from other therapies to best serve each client with whom I work. I also specialize in psychological testing/assessment of children, adolescents and adults. I work with many autistic and attention challenged individuals from a Neurodiversity perspective. This sees neurological differences as valid and valuable, and I recognize that the idea of "normal" changes by society and context. I am affirming of neurological differences and teach people to embrace their differences and use them to make this world a beautiful and colorful place to live in.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD from Pacific University. I have been licensed to practice in Washington State (license number PY60820896.) I have met the education, competency, and approved supervisor standards, and will uphold requirements for supervision per WAC 246-809-234.
